Note: Please make sure you always have a parent supervising you when you are going to be cooking with an oven or stove top. Also, NEVER use knives or sharp objects when cooking without your Mom or Dad present!

Simple Cheesecake Recipe

Simple Cheesecake

I found this recipe in one of my mom’s recipe books. It is so easy to make and they are DELICIOUS!!!!! I Love Cheesecake!!

Miniature Cheesecakes

  • 1/3 cup graham cracker crumbs

  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • 1 tablespoon margarine, melted

  • 8oz package of Philadelphia Brand Cream Cheese (softened)

  • ¼ cup sugar

  • 1 ½ teaspoons lemon juice

  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla

  • 1 egg

  • Strawberry preserves

Combine crumbs, sugar, and margarine.

Press rounded measuring tablespoonful of crumb mixture onto bottom of each of six(6) paper muffin cups.

Bake at 325 degrees, 5 minutes.

Combine cream cheese, sugar, juice, and vanilla, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended. Blend in egg. Pour mixture into cups, filling each cup ¾ full. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool before removing from pan. Chill. Top with preserves just before serving.

Note: Always have your parent help you with the oven.

Yummy Chocolate Brownie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 c butter

  • 1 1/2 c sugar

  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract

  • 3 eggs

  • 3/4 c all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 c cocoa

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 c chopped pecans.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter and flour a 13 x 9 in pan. Melt the butter. Beat eggs with sugar, and add vanilla, flour, cocoa, baking powder and melted butter. Add chopped nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool cake completely. Dust with powdered sugar.
